The International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks (also known as the Nice Classification) serves to determine the scope of protection of trade marks. The Nice Classification divides goods and services into 45 classes. Classes 1 to 34 relate to goods, while Classes 35 to 45 relate to services.
